i was playing mc for the first time in like 7 years on a friends realm
i wrote some crazy stuff in the chat (we were 5 online at the time) and now i cant play on a REALM
for 7 days due to HATE SPEECH!! ON A PRIVATE REALM !!! THAT MY FRIEND PAID FOR

Unrelated but you can get kicked off a single player world for spamming and when you click ok it takes you to the multiplayer section

Realms make sense though, since they are Mojang's/Microsoft servers you are paying to use. But this doesn't happen in regular 3rd party servers

I think this is unnecessary for private servers.
