It's normal, one game is 1 year old and the other 10, more sponsor, more story, etc. When Valorant is 10 years old, he will obviously have much more prize and viewers
normally majors have a 1m prize pool but this has 2m prize pool because rio major 2020 was cancelled
so the 1m from that major was added to this making it the largest prize pool in cs history
you're right but most likely 2m prize pool will become common for some time before getting bigger. at least there were rumours about it. cs bring insane amount of cash to valve
