People in medical field come

I am volunteering at my local ER as a highschooler to get them hours

Any tips on how to get the most out of this

Skye and sage heal all of them

bring a small notepad and pen, take notes, learn how to talk to patients from the other nurses/techs around you. if you are planning on going into the medical field then talk to the nurses/doctors etc about the path they went to to get their degree. also have fun. the er is stressful but very fun

make sure you are attentive
dont make assumptions
if you are not sure what to do
its better to ask help and get scolded
do what is ask of you and do not overstep
remember if you're not trained or license dont give advice to the patients or folks
also dont talk about patients condition outside the hospital
