We saw the same thing happen with FNC last year. You have a good team, you drop your coach for whatever reason, and all of a sudden you look lost. That's not fraudulent, that's just... wth is the org doing
They were also pretty shit in 2023, they weren’t like FNC who won almost every tourney
They've won like basically every game that wasn't Team Heretics this year, though, no? It's kinda just poor luck that they're not making both Masters this year
That is a fair point, but no one really cares about regional performances unless you qualify for masters/champs. Legit Liquid won EMEA 2023 but no one talks about that
Idk man, other than 4th/3rd Lock/In 2023 was not good for them, and they only qualified because FNC won Lock/In, then they bombed out in groups both times
i was more talking about this year where they looked good almost every game(bbl is fucking different) except heretics
What’s the point of looking good if it doesn’t amount to anything and they also loss to GX. There needs be a line drawn because they have been just mid honestly(but I agree they did good on spilt 1)
Fnatic didn't drop their coach, Mini left. Just think about it - it's one thing to drop a coach after you don't make two out of three events as a title-holding team, it's another to drop him after you have the most successful season of all time. Mini wanted to sleep and he had accomplished what he wanted, so he stepped down.
