Interesting changes proposed for the future of League Of Legends, with a series of changes to the format and the league structures.
Including the creation of an APAC league which will unite the LJL (japan) , VCS (vietnam) , LCO (oce) , PCS (hk/tw) and SEA.

What is the most interesting for me is the proposed Americas league: Which will combine the lcs (na) , cblol (brazil) , LLA (LATAM)

North and south conferences
Each conference would maintain six of its existing partnered teams (cblol for south, lcs for north), integrate one team from the LLA based on geographical alignment, and reserve one “Guest team” spot for promotion and relegation through the Tier 2 system, for a total of eight teams per conference.

Here’s how the Americas splits would work:

Split 1 - Teams would first compete within their respective conferences, with top performers qualifying for cross-conference play where a single team will qualify for the new global tournament.
Split 2 - For MSI, the top team from each conference would secure one slot, a total of two Americas teams;
Split 3 - An Americas Regional Championship would determine three teams advancing to Worlds, with at least one team from each conference.

Could we see this americas system adopted into the vct?
It could be beneficial in reducing some of the issues with Brazilian valorant.

wouldn't it be beneficial? more money to earn and a better competition to help your(LATAM) teams evolve?

I know that NA is NOT good at LoL, but they're still better than LATAM, so South American teams would have better opponents to play against

they literally killed our T2, we have a really healthy ecossystem involving our big orgs, people are really passionate about it and always tune in to watch games and engage in social media, but instead they got fucking MIBR into franchise (not even a true brazilian org) and left our big orgs to dust, then they left

Riot should've gave a franchise spot to paiN Gaming, they're a better org and they actually care about their results it feels like

They were in the past, immortals (NA) bought em and they went to shit after it. The reason they didnt do roster changes this season was because they didnt have enough money available to the valo team (????)

The BR League didn't end

It actually is much better than Valorant, props to caco nunes

Its a unique middle ground.
On the positive side there will be a CBLOL team guaranteed at msi and worlds, hopefully the Southern conferences stays in brazil.
Although the reduction in the league size will hurt (10 -> 6), not sure if all the orgs will want to invest in t2.
Will be very interesting to see who they pick for the "partnership" slots, especially the LLA ones.

I don't think this solves the issues with the LCS though.

They shouldn't take spots from CBLOL, we are a thriving reagion with middle players that are becoming good right now

Like in Fluxo, INTZ and Keyd

It's shit that this only happenned because americans with all that money cannot sustain a reagion alone, and have to be babycared by Riot and destroy other reagions for it

Kinda Lame, but at least we still have a reagion

There is 2 worlds:
1 - we lose all our great players for NA
2 - we concentrate power and get better

They are trying to suck Brazil of without we actually seeing it, this literally is a neo-colonization shit, because BR players won't count as imports so slowly we will lose to them
