Why are APAC fans so overconfident?

APAC fans already see GEN beating FNC, why is that?

I'm a EMEA fan and I think GEN are favourites but FNC still have a quite a chance to win.

I think a lot of it has to do with emotions, lots of people pick who they want to see rather then who is truly most likely to win. PRX is the prime example of this where every tournament they are at they get glazed into oblivion only to disappoint every single time and come up just short of the mark. And no matter how many times it happens, they continue to be picked to win at every single tournament.

i think yes fnatic can beat geng and even prx but man i really want prx to lift the trophy thats why we need geng in the finals along with prx so they dont choke in th final moments

same reason why EMEA shitters believe any EMEA Team not named FNC are actually contenders 😂

Recency bias. FNC fell off and they just got back their footing. Gen G have been looking good since Madrid and PRX are always consistently top 3 but choking.

I don't think it is just the fan's sentiments, nobody from the 1st seed wants to pick GEN G. I'd say it is a 50-50 battle between GEN and FNC.
