I honestly don't know why people thought he would be able to do even a somewhat decent job. Did everyone forget that the reason why he left 100T was because he was forced onto the igl role during the ec1s babyj roster and he didn't like it? No hate to him, but he isn't cut out for the igl role

Honestly based. I remember that iteration of the 100T roster, and I came away thinking that he hated it.

People thought he would be good because he has really good micro game sense, but that doesn’t automatically make you igl caliber

Yeah Ethan hasn't performed as an igl but what I am confused about is how a team with so many good mid rounders could not figure out what they were doing wrong. We know that Marved, Victor and Crashies helped FNS with mid rounding on Optic but this NRG team play looked terrible

We’re rewriting history here. Ec1s was the igl on that roster, it’s for the jcstani roster that ethan was the igl. But that’s not the reason he left. It’s bcs sgares and mikes came with the full rebuilding plan for the team and ethan wanted to play with more experienced players (ex- cs players) which was literally the opposite of what sgares wanted since young players are much easier to coach.

no he didn't lmao he admitted that he didn't have faith in 100T because there was too many youngsters so he joined NRG because he's was still an ex csgo player wanting to play with other ex csgo players, if it was until 100T qualified in LCQ that changed his views and be willing to join EG
