why does the game start at the later slot when before when there's only been one game, theyve started at the earlier slot start time? the later schedule time is 3am for me and i dont have it in me to stay up if thats really the case

probably because it’s a friday and people in the americas time zones are less likely to be at school/work during the later slot

maybe they're trying to wrap group stage up faster now since the all the other regions are starting playoffs already, and then maybe they also want a longer break between groups and playoffs idk
and its probably later bc later friday will have chance for viewership than early friday

yeah maybe so, that explains moving it to friday instead of mon. but the timeslot factors (people's work schedules, mainly) are the same for both days... is the point just to provide more "later evening" entertainment for a friday night? idek what times these games run locally

its 5pm locally, and across the US its 6pm-8pm starting so its more likely people are off work/out of school and whatnot idk ig they're just trying to maximize viewership but yea it doesn't make that much sense to me tbh
