vct points

i thought they werent going to implement this format ever again or they were going to implement it on a good way, turns out they implemented it again and in the worst way possible

loud, gets 2nd on americas kickoff losing only 1 game against sentinels and gets 4th place on masters, how much vct points they won thanks to that? 0
then they lose 3 games against good teams on vct americas stage 1 and i have to admit it, kru beats 3 teams which are bottom of americas and loud and we already have 4 vct points to make champions while they have 0 even tho we dont even know if we are making shanghai or not and we got 0-2 on kick off, how a team makes it to a major and gets 2nd on a regional qualifier yet have 0 points and we have 4 points? as much as this benefits us this format is shit and is unfair af, am i happy we are doing good? SUREEEEE but i like loud too and its fucked up if they lose the chance to go to champs because of 5 bad matchups

it was shit the second it was introduced but i mean wtf can we do about it, Riot doing dumb shit and making us suck it up until they realize what they did is stupid has been tradition for almost a decade.

How many of those do you need to qualify to Champs? I know how the format to reach Masters works, but not too sure on the points thing

loud lost to strong teams? the points system rewards consistency, which loud doesnt have rn... great during kickoff and then fell off in split 1

granted, riot shouldve applied the 1 point match win during kickoff and masters

Thats why players kinda said if you dont win the kickoff it doesnt make sense to be there and I agree with that. If you dont win kickoff is no point because other teams can get ready suck as DRX , KRU

In pacific T1 got screwed the most with worst schedule of all 4 regions (pacific split 23 days other region 30 days) + external factors as mentioned by sideshow:

• T1 condition with xccurate injury + T1 HQ DDOS problem and they have to play 4 games by week 2 (4 games in 9 days).
• 3 loss in first 4 game with Match 1/2/3 being PRX, mental damage loss by DFM, and DRX, luckily they won against RRQ on 4th game ALL in 9 days.
• Now T1 is in complete mess going 1-4 after losing to TLN 2-0 with 1 game to go.
• Bleed and GE can potentially made playoff instead of T1.
• Current 1pt getting 4th place for champs qualification already looks unlikely.

Kickoff with awful format should not have a lot of points added, infact none is the best bet. But masters should have awarded them a lot more, I mean they were top 4 still.

loud dont deserve to go to champs, youll be smarter once you realize this

Tldr ; this year format is sucks, from points to matches

It’s almost impossible for sen to not make champs, for them to not make champs they have to literally lose every game and while teams like kru needs to win stage 1 playoffs and Shanghai to catch up to sen
