I think it’s more likely that teams aren’t hitting ceiling anymore and therefore the competition is closer; unpredictable

Am i the only one who thinks the level of competition at kick off was actually quite good and that now teams are slumping due to the weird map pool and not having the best read on the meta (eg Loud) rather than kick off being the mickey mouse tournament? Reminds me of Tokyo last year where literally everyone at the tournament besides EG and Fnatic looked bad (NRG lost to prx with a sub and got 4th)

If you think EG and Fnatic were good teams then you have to consider PRX and NRG good too. PRX took EG to map 5 with a sub
I agree the competition was lower than champs for example since a lot of the top teams were underperforming (DRX, loud)
