For Ascension winning teams, they play in Franchise for 2 years correct? After their 2 years are up, what happens to the players on that team? Do they move down to Tier2 scene with the team ?

The players actually only matter for the first year i think. After that the org gets the slot.
Org wins ascension, and has to keep the core for the slot. After the year after that end, the org has another year of "ownership" over the slot, and can do wathever they want with the team. And after that is an unknown, probably riot is evaluating relegation tourney or something like that.
