I mean they consistently sit in top 5 teams in EMEA but haven't achieved anything, haven't won anything, its time for them now or Liquid will take it?

but a part of me wants guild to make it because they havent made it to a lan event while liquid has
but am rootin for Liquid
I feel like a parent who has two children. I love both, and part of me wants TL to succeed but a bigger part of me wants to see Guild being on top showing bonkar true potential. It really is hard man... :/
Guild have always been in and around that top team discussion but unluckily always lost in the final or semis to a qualifier in weird ways.Guild beating g2 IMO isn't an upset when they have been performing at that level for quite some time.I just hope we can finally make a tournament.
if you were a betting man youd bet on liquid. but you would also bet on g2 above guild, look how that turned out. id say this is still 80% favored towards liquid but if that 20% comes alive the game will be more interesting.
Unless Riot change this dumb system (which rewards fluke teams like Fnatic and doesn't reward consistent teams like Guild / FPX who are in every single VCT), no. They will not achieve anything. Because EMEA is just too strong of a region to make it to Masters.

What difference does it make when you're close to winning every time but always fail? I'd rather be a fan of fnatic than guild believe me. Cheering for guild this year was very painful, and today will be even more painful.
Gambit/Acend/Fnatic/Liquid deserve to be considered the top 4 of Europe for the year. It is these 4 teams that have been the most stable this year.
Fnatic were on top only during Stage 2, they didn't qualify for main events neither in Stage 1 nor in Stage 3
Basically that Fnatic Reykjavik run gave them Champions spot, because they didn't earn any points besides that tourney
if you say being a guild supporter was painful, imagine a g2 supporter we needed 9 month to make it to a huge tournament. at least guild was making it to all tournament except for masters 3
guild have plateaued they havent improved for months now. they only solution is to remove bonkar and make him main coach because he is clearly a genius or he wouldve been dropped
