Dat too on Initiatorrrrrr against a Challenger League champ team(no venka tho)
Crazy farming
Oh sorry I misunderstood what you were saying mb. Well I don't think that's exactly what happened. SkRossi was an alright player on a terrible team and he paid the price of that like many others in franchising.
GE didn't just bench Skrossi because they thought he was bad, they benched the whole roster including texture and monyet who just placed top 2 and 3 in Madrid, there is no shame in that. Team needed a fresh start and I understand the decision, difference is Monyet and texture were great were picked up and SkRossi who wasn't bad but wasn't at that level paid the price.
It has happened before to many tier 1 players who are good enough but their teams underperform and are forced into tier 2, in EMEA is extremely common. Problem in this case is that it feels like SkRossi has only 1 team he can get into while the rest have 10
T3xture's agency helped him escape that shit hole, by asking for unrealistic demands.
PRX paid hefty amount for Monyet buyout (the amount might total current GE's lineUp whole cost)
They didn't benched them, they just escaped,
While SkRossi as u said correctly who spent his whole Valo career carrying GE to winning Locals, intl events and had no back up for him. Got betrayed in plain sight.
It all just infuriates me and if it wasn't for him GE wouldn't be even in Franchising.
Huh 😞
large population may not correlate to percentage of ppl playing video games but if you have a huge population like india (which is the largest populated country in the world) there should still be a large number of people playing video games and apparently over 400million ppl play video games in india according to https://www.statista.com/statistics/1064010/number-of-online-gamers-india/ which is higher than the population of united states. Sure playing video games professional probably isn't popular like countries in the western world but again, with the population amount there should be more ppl becoming pro in video games
the only reason why it probably isnt as popular is due to lack of funding and investment in the space, for example counter strike, they invested into india but due to forsakens cheating scandel most teams pulled out basically resulting in the end of indian cs
im probably wrong on a lot of these points but this is just my opinion
No. A lot of people don’t have a computer or a laptop, so they only play mobile games. Also, playing video games as a child is heavily frowned against because the social norm is that you should be only focusing on studying. A lot of these gamers start when they get an iphone which is around 18 years of age.
Population doesn’t equal player base my friend. Completely different concept. It’s like asking why are women not very good in esports if they’re half the world’s population, they don’t play games nearly as much
You can notice that because the Indian stream numbers are pretty small as well. Less people interested
