EDG getting weaker? Or china stronger

Dayum JD almost won. Is china getting stronger or edg weaker? Thoughts guys? If this keeps going on for edg they will be less powerful as teams get better and adapt to them

China's just getting stronger imo. JDG was expected to perform well anyways.

Bit of both. JDG should've won, so many thrown rounds on split that they could've won with more discipline.

Flaws in EDG's team are becoming more obvious. Haodong calling is not good, and they don't use enough supporting util if they rest so much of their chance of winning on KangKang. It's why we see them performing worse overall.

I mean back in mid-late 2023 when the roster was on rare atom; they were very good. Getting to finals of the evolution series very frequently, even beating edg once. They were definitely a top 2 Chinese team. Sadly, when franchising started they had to choose between their star duelist stew and igl yoman (they picked stew). In kick-off they were having igl issues, so they didn't get out of groups. Recently they signed YHchen (the igl for last years attacking soul esports rooster) and benched jkuro. They had a really limited amount of practice with YH so nearly pushing edg to overtime on 3rd map is crazy. Honestly its just JDG being goated and not edg being dog water. They will definitely be fighting for number 1 in china, and possibly overthrow edg.

Also JDG should've won split kangkang was playing shit, smoggy and nobody just won them so many rounds with their aim
