I know this might sound crazy after them winning masters but hear me out.
- zekken clearly is the best raze in the world and is miles ahead of everyone else but we can all agree his jett is weak and can def improve on that.
- Sacy although is a world class initiator and is one of if not the best util wise can def be better at winning his duels and overall mechs. I've seen a lot of times him just not hitting shots when I was watching SEN play.
- Johnqt has said they could've played better and he himself could too. He was also fasting which likely had somewhat of a dip in his overall energy when he was playing can't imagine playing a 5 game series on a empty stomach.
- Tenz is a great omen/controller but can improve on his initiator throughout the year.
- Zellsis I think needs doesn't: have a crazy big thing to improve on, good glue player but just improving everywhere to keep up with these crazy good guys.
As a whole SEN is very weak on maps like breeze and icebox, and ascent is kinda a coinflip when they play it. Icebox and Breeze being these jett maps where zekken does struggle. All 3 can be improved as a whole and we did see quite a dip in SENs retake percentage after Americas for a lot of maps including Split. Improving map pool and building on existing strength on maps is necessary as teams will be paying even more attention to them now.
I and most people who watched pretty much every series of Masters can agree that GenG was the better team going into the grand finals and just didn't really convert it due to choking and pressure issues. SEN doesn't mald under pressure which is great and makes them good contenders for Champs this year but need to improve on this stuff I mentioned to win Champs.
NRG is in my opinion going to be looking great in these playoffs and could possibly take the #1 if SEN doesn't keep up and improve. They could've beat SEN in there match but couldn't due too
very obvious synergy issues. Granted SEN is not the same team they were when they were playing NRG but NRG will have a chip on their shoulder and I'm concerned for how SEN will be able to keep #1 in Americas position.
