PRX Qualify for Playoffs in 2-1 Win
Gen.G selected Breeze as the opening map, and a strong start from t3xture saw him at 13/1 over the first five rounds. A second-round ace from t3xture with the Outlaw propelled Gen.G to a 4-1 lead.

After a pistol round win, Gen.G secured their eco round to tie the game 7-7. A back-and-forth half concluded with Gen.G taking the map 13-10. Gen.G were propelled on Breeze by 28 and 20 kills from t3xture and karon, respectively, while PRX was led by 21 kills from d4v41 .
On Lotus, PRX's map pick, the match once again started evenly at 4 rounds each. A 4k from Meteor to clutch round ten tied the map at 5.

On Sunset, the third and deciding map, PRX used a strong start to jump out to a 10-2 lead. After a few round wins from Gen.G, Paper Rex closed out the map in dominating fashion, winning 13-7. A dominant performance on Gekko from something saw him finish 19/8 on Sunset. PRX were led by something, who tallied 60 kills across the three maps. T3xture performed well for Gen.G, securing 65 kills to lead all players.
PRX becomes the first team to qualify for the playoffs in any region. Global Esports Eliminate BLEED in Group A Elimination Match
Sunset was the opening map, and Global Esports used a dominating performance to secure a 13-9 win. blaZek1ng led the way with 24 kills for GE. Yay, playing Viper, was only able to provide 12 kills.
After a back-and-forth first half, GE dominated the second half. They jumped out to an 11-6 lead after narrowly avoiding a thrifty in one round.
After a controversial move of placing Yay on Viper in the opening map, he shifted over to Jett on Icebox. In the first half, Yay and BLEED got off to a rocky start. Down 8-4 at the half, things were looking bleak for BLEED.
Five straight rounds for BLEED saw them take a 9-8 lead. After GE tied the score at 9, BLEED won three straight to take a 12-9 lead behind an incredible 3k from Yay to secure their twelfth round win.
Am impressive 3k from YayOn the third and deciding map, Split, GE once again led 8-4 at the half. After a furious comeback to draw within one round, with the score 11-10, GE won an important round to take a 12-10 lead, and then closed out the map in the following round. BlaZek1ng led the way for GE with 56 kills, and Egoist came through with 61 kills for BLEED. An underwhelming performance from Yay saw him finish 35/49.
Global Esports advance to play in the Group A decider on Wednesday. BLEED is eliminated from the kickoff tournament and will prepare for the regular season.
ZETA also Qualify for Playoffs with Dominating 2-0 Win
On the opening map of Ascent, Zeta took an early lead and were leading 7-5 at the half. After winning pistol, T1 won six consecutive rounds to take an 11-8 lead. Just two rounds away from victory, T1 would not win another round on the map, and six straight round wins from Zeta Division won them the map.
Rossy and Sayaplayer both led the way on Ascent for T1 with 20 kills each. Dep led Zeta with 24 kills.
On Lotus, T1 made quick work of Zeta Division on their own map pick. Leading 9-3 at the half, T1 would drop just one round on their attacking side for a convincing 13-4 victory. A dominating win on Lotus evened the match at 1-1, and it would all come down to a third and deciding map for the playoffs.
On Sunset, T1 once again got off to a hot start, taking a 2-0 lead that they would then turn into an 8-4 lead at the half. Using a balanced attack in which three players had 17 kills, T1 won the map with another convincing score of 13-7, giving them the 2-1 victory for the match.
T1 becomes the second team to qualify for the playoffs, joining PRX from earlier today. Zeta Division drops down to face Global Esports in Group A's deciding match on Wednesday. The winner of that match will advance to the Play-Ins for the final spot in the playoffs.
