Still, 6 months is crazy long off season. When RIOT can make off season in LoL 2 months long, why not in Valorant? People still watching that, for years. And it is working.

Well, 2022 to 2023 was similar to lenght. 2022 Champions ended Sep. 19 and LOCK/IN started Feb. 13. Which is almost 5 months.

This would all be solved if they allowed players to compete in third party tournaments during the season. This "championship monopoly" is unhealthy to the competitive scene imo
