Is CS major like Champions or Masters? I always got confused cuz different companies will organize different ones like ESL and Eleague/
the one with the most prestige so champions. yeah every year different org hosts it
but cs majors has more teams since they have to get through the challenger stage first right? For the ones that hasn't got a spot in the playoff.
I'm really looking forward. I know people here hate CSGO but I do advise you to watch the major as it has plenty of storylines to follow and honestly the best casting talent I've ever seen in an event. It's going to be epic and it is always good to support other tac fps.
Negatives: not enough diversity, CSGO is kinda dying outside of EU/CIS. You will only see a chinese team, a few brazilian teams, a couple of NA teams and unlike valorant, two OCE teams. Other than that it will mostly be EU and CIS teams.

5 na/br teams
11 europe teams
5 cis teams
Yeah? Because most good teams are form that region / regions ? Qualification is based on results in previous majors, If Asia / Oceania did good = more spots for them
If it's an insane matchup like Navi vs Vitality in the finals then obviously it's gonna have more numbers than whatever finals matchup champions has.
