Which 5 players in all regions do you think will be overrated and under-perform?
I'll start:
On a serious note tenz is not overrrated, he performs well , even last season he was 2nd highest rated player on his team. It's true his fans hype him up like the best player, but in reality he's just tenz. He has nice shots and is a well rounded player. It's true he doesn't have that outstanding ability like he did before, he still is just tenz and will always be tenz. No matter if you like him or hate him he's still a mechanically gifted player. He's not gonna be "overrated" if you look at him play generally, if you see him as how his fans see him then you can call him "overrated".
Yes pls downvote me for telling the truth
Just to make sure I am being downvoted for telling the truth correct?
idk how boaster could underperform aside from just having a bad read on the meta, not like his individual expectations are that high
everyone views him as the weakest point in fnatic cause his igl strats not good and he doesn't have good mechanical skills.
Hw got outcalled by saadhak but then again hes probably the best igl europe has
Pacific:
"I'm flashback 18 Years old and I will be the top fragger in Pacific League" - Flashback
"If my aim was as good as he is, I think we would have won Champions by now" - Mako
No one is buying this.
"Russ's firepower is extraordinarily underrated" - BIGTIME
Guy have no firepower, worst performer in masters Copenhagen, on game vs PRX he got T-bagged by jinggg in map1 and get knifed by jinggg in map 2.
Governor - TLN
GenG wanted to pick him up but decided against signing him cause he can't speak Korean, 2nd choice for RRQ cause they prefer Jemkin for import and ended up in TLN. Importing player doesn't always mean they will perform better.
Estrella - RRQ
From the RRQ video, I feel like his lack of english will cause him to underperform, as RRQ is his first "foreign team" and I feel like he better off in GenG (Korean speaking team).
yay - Bleed
I feel like people putting so much expectation on Yay to produce results immediately instantly beating T1 who had much better off season to prepare for the opening match. Deryeon will be playing entry duelist whilst Yay is being expected to play initiator/sentinel. His role change will have this "underperform" tag on Yay, even tho he's still a good player.
bro no fucking way governer was considered 3 times to play in franchising. he wasnt even a top 5 duelist back in challengers.
People had this impression that governor can speak korean, can adapt to living is seoul better, easier to sign from visa/legal import player perspective (compared to jemkin) and NOT really from performance top 5 duelist in challengers.
okay that makes sense, but there has to be a lot more apac talent who fit in this criteria besides governor no?
After Talon’s loss in ESL, they sign surf. Totally not because of the outrage by Thai fans btw.
Bro you're taking way too much away from those Pacific preview videos, of course the teams are going to be confident in themselves and their players and say ambitious things.
How else can you elaborate things being “overrated” when they make those kinds of preview hype video? ZETA did theirs differently with hiroron and T1 (xccurate, iZu, Rossy) not the kind to overly hype themselves cause the players know T1 will easily replace them if T1 sees better players available.
tex doesn't have any expectations because he is switching off duelist, so i don't know how u can say he will underperform
