i lose 20-23 per loss and only get like 16 per win in immortal 2 - anyone know a way to fix this

Just lose like 2 game incredibly horribly like with duelist 0 kills , it will reverse

Your MMR is bad, thats how rank works

i had a 28% winrate before winstreaking all the way to 194rr, could that be the reason?

yes. Win consistently and the mmr will adjust

it is very discouraging losing two games of rr gain so i am kind of reluctant to play now

Ranked is trying to push you into a lower rank.
The only way to fix this is to get a win rate above 50% and get better ACS and ECON ratings in games.

why would econ rating have any effect

Most players average 50-70 ECON per game, if you are above or below this it effects RR increase/decrease in combination with winrate and ACS.
It's basically a way for the game to know that you're having impact on all types of rounds. Pistols, ecos, half-buys.
It's a flawed system but it matters in terms of RR gain/loss.

lost 2-3 game so bad u drop below 3k. It somehow fuck with ur mmr and make it better

I play with a friend that has a higher rank than me and I drop 2-3 times as many kills against higher ranks and I get like 8 points less than him even with a star and I think it's because I tanked my main into iron to get the gun buddy and to be able to play with other friends
