I’ve seen some bandwagon takes, but ain’t no way y’all are calling this new NRG an upgrade

First problem is the lack of IGL, “but eThAn iS tHe iGl”.
He wasn’t that on EG, he was at most a pacifying agent, someone who calmed down the team. But he wasn’t the hard caller FNS is.

You mfs seem to forget it doesn’t matter how good the individual players are, what matters most is the system, the cohesion.
Ethan was a middle score player before the hard pressure scrimming Potter put him through, and even then he wasn’t the brain of the operation.

Look I don’t wanna undercut Ethan, NRG will win over messy teams like C9 and MiBr, but they will not have the resilience to beat teams who kept their winning systems; like Fnatic, Loud…. Hell even NAVI have a higher chance of winning off base cohesion.

The thing is Ethan and Demon1 excelled because of the system they were in, it developed them insanely, but the problem with restrictive “do what we tell you” systems is, when the player is left to its own, he will start to collapse.

Also, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND thinks FNS wasnt what made NRG great? The whole reason NRG/Optic/NVY was a contender for so long, was their strategic prowess, you wanna tell me you think taking out the head and glueing some brain fragments will the trick?

And let’s no forget about Demon1, which, truth is; is just an NA version of DGzin/Heat.

But if you don’t keep a leash on the mf he starts attacking like a rabid chihuahua, again, SYSTEM, it’s what made these players excell
The exhaustingly repetitive exercise of scrimming against a competent team with no fear of revealing your trick plays.

Marved is good
Crashies is good
Victor is good
Demon1 is good
Ethan is good

But they aren’t great, Not Together.

First off, old NRG wasn't great. Not sure why everyone blames ardiis but FNS and Victor weren't great either. S0m and Crashies worth only mentioning putting up performances, FNS was nothing great at all lmfao.
Second, Demon1 is great. Ethan is great. Marved Crashies Victor together should be great, we'll see if they still got that chemistry.
Not going to lie, Demon1 just needs 4 baits or great supporting playmakers and he can just 1v5 every team and win another Majors.
And some people are saying ANGE1 is good? Lmao he's nothing special wtf lol

NRG will destroy SEN. Without an "IGL". You saw it first here, mark this post.
Also, Ethan Crashies are very smart players. They can easily call shots and midround. Ethan did a lot of midrounding calls during Champs. Marved can help too. There's no need to worry about "IGL" with new NRG. PRX does it fine, so can NRG.
Also I'm currently Imm3, you're probably below Imm1 so don't talk like you know the game.

"PRX does it fine, so can NRG" then they'll fail because everyone wants to speak and there's no leadership at all. Using PRX as an example is the worst opinion ever since PRX's style will not fit to what NRG will want to do.
Also I never said SEN is better than NRG, however NRG won't win shit without a proper IGL. If Ethan can cover that then fine, if not they'll just look lost as fuck.

Also, you can easily reach imm3 with aim alone, I guess I should change what I said, your talk exactly like immortal players who think they can do anything with aim alone and end up losing a round with overconfidence

You're ignorant if you think you can just hit Imm3 with aim alone. You need awareness and decent strat for gameplay even if its just running "ranked" for fun.
Yes I agree NRG can fall short without a real IGL, but their players are all good enough and well experienced enough to perform so they'll do a lot better than youre expecting. IGL is bullshit, mid-round calling is what matters the most during intense matches. These players are all experienced and have won a Major, they'll know how to manage and handle. Worry about Johnqt. Great player but lack VCT experience. Luckily he has Zellsis to support him. Both Ethan Zellsis are amazing midrounders, same with Crashies and Johnqt. Demon1 don't even need an IGL tbh either.

other than LOUD and fnatic who stayed similar, many teams like nrg, lev, vit, fut, could also be title contenders but we just have to wait 2 months to see

And nobody has any idea how the "cohesion" will be your just assuming. one thing i do know though is that the system under fns was becoming stale and old, they needed something new so i don't have a problem with it at all.

Problem is, you need someone to create that system, and someone to enforce it. Ain’t no one on NRG creator or enforcer, they can become one yes, but that takes time and cohesion, and they ain’t got no time. It’s not right to say they will be a superteam cuz they do not have the time to become one.
