The biggest and most important for the sport, in sequence:
1- Pelé
2- Maradona
3- Cruyff
4- Cristiano Ronaldo
5- Messi
6- Franz Beckenbauer
7- Alfredo Di Stefano
8- Ronaldo Phenomenon
9- Zinedine Zidane
10- Garrincha
Ez
Messi + Ronaldo = 0 World Cups. Not in my book
Pele = 3 World Cups (one of them with 17 years old and he scoring har-trick in the semi-final and 2 in the final), stopped War in countries he played because soldiers wanted to watch him play, precursor of the mystical “10 Shirt”, holder of dozens of records for over 50 years, inventor of dozens of dribbles and tricks, complete player, almost 800 official goals in his career. The physique that CR7 has today Pelé had in 1960 without any technology
Maradona = 1 World Cup (Hardcarry, greatest individual performance ever in world cups).
Cruyff = 0 World Cups but is the greatest genius in the history of the sport, athlete 50 years ahead of his time and perhaps the greatest legacy of all on the list.
I dont feel like receiving it retrospectively is the same value. I just wanted to point out how your reasoning of them having more world cup winner medals is stupid. Because not Pele or Maradona won the WC but Brazil and Argentina, discrediting everyone else is just sad. Have different reasoning and i will understand why you chose them above Messi or Ronaldo
