How do u find it entertaining with such flops like I understand it’s part of the game to draw penalties but like still shit gets old so quick. Also the scoring a goal every half an hour bro like I get so bored. Please make me understand

I mean I started playing soccer when I was like 3 bc one of my parents played professionally but these last few years I've sorta lost interest in soccer. there is lots of depth in soccer though

As far as I'm aware it's ingrained into some cultures. For example, here in Italy, if you wear the wrong football jerseys in some cities, you can get verbally abused. Wonderful isn't it? But personally I love watching football for the suspense (you see them pass the ball around and stuff before building up to a goal). I think scoring a goal every half an hour adds to the expense because when they finally score is when one teams fans get super happy and the other teams fans get to sulk in defeat lol. Which is why I can't watch basketball because you score every minute or smth idk.

I feel like sports where people can absolutely sit down their opponents is a much better representation of skill compared to football, because in football the game is decided by one score almost every time, I understand the suspense is cool but basically everyone is at the same skill level to the point where its boring for people like me.

Well, I disagree with your statement that everyone is basically at the same skill level, because it's very obvious when one persons dribbling or shooting is better than another. However, you're right that often the game is decided by very few goals, which in my opinion makes the game more exciting, because that allows for so many exciting upsets and revenge storylines lol.

Trust me I've been to both Canada, US and lots of europe and from experience the Europeans are crazy about their sport.

In Europe it's city vs city and it's like a religion there but in NA it's just for entertainment

even the playstyle is entertaining af. the build up, the tension ,the disappointment, everything. id literally watch any team play, not just the teams i like and still enjoy but i never know why. ive been watching for over 10 years but still cant explain why clearly
