i said this as joke but selling and promoting a bad product is far morally superior than promoting and profiting off gambing which ruins peoples lives. At the end of the day no-one is going to spend their last paycheck on some shitty product but many will gamble it away. ofc pokimane is a pretty bad human being but the people that were making commentary videos were often guilty of much worse. I respect critical but the fact he makes a big commentary vidoe on this but not the gambling situation was weird and he also seemed to overreact.
I agree promoting and profiting off gambling is also bad if not worse. I used to be a big xQc fan until he started gambling and I stopped watching. Just because people have done worse doesn't justify what pokimane did in any way and I still stand by that pokimane is not a good person and is classist by literally telling people they're broke to their faces making fun of them and quite literally a scammer by repackaging an already existing product, adding a bit of vitamin D and making it 3x the price. You can see two people arguing and know they're both wrong and bad people.
