Double duelist

Is double duelist still meta on any map?
Even sentinels is running solo duelist on most maps rn so I'm not sure but my team prefers playing me on flex since double duelist "is not good" but I feel like it's gotta be decent on maps like split bind atleast right?

Split and Bind. But in reality, you should talk to your team about comfort picks. If you wanna do a double duelist meta with your team, go for it.

Bro they don't listen to me when I say just because a comp worked for pro teams doesn't mean it'll suit us the best
They "want to practice it until we get good" with that comp 😭

Damn.... My ranked squad knows me as the lurking sentinel coz I get info really quickly from any rotates etc. If they tell me to play another agent, I wouldnt mind succumbing to it. So, if your team "wants to practice it until you get good", I think find a middle point for that flex role (if you originally play a flashing duelist, keep working on your flashing initiator.)

they’re not lying, it’s a reason most teams only
use 1’duelist and that’s all you need, if all you can play is duelist then you’re lacking , and you’re just going to lose more games in tournaments scrims w.e you’re playing

I agree. To me, most maps in Valorant rarely need double duelists or even sentinels due to how good double smokes and/or double initiators are now in play.
