Bleed has signed former DSG talent Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker as the team's new players, completing the final Bleed's roster.
Yay was half of the brains behind DSG's stellar 2023 run, in which the roster became the undisputed top team in North America for most of the year. Under his performance, DSG lost just two matches in the Challengers League NA — one in each of the group stages — and headed into tier 3 NA challenger and suffered lost to MAD Lions and disbanded.
The team suffered an extremely hefty second split in the North American league, ending the regular season winless. In the Play-In Relegation, in which the bottom four teams of the league fought for a spot in 2024, Disguised lost 2-0 bouts to OREsports and MAD Lions that eliminated them from the running.
yay is known for his time on OpTic Gaming, a world contender throughout the course of 2022. Under his tenure, OpTic were a force to be reckoned with as they finished first in Masters 1: Reykjavik, top four in Masters 2: Copenhagen, and second in Champions. OpTic's main reason for success was yay, as he was regarded as a world-class duelist – best on Chamber then.
yay will return to competition in Pacific League in 2024
