Does Valorant masters actually count as a major tournament or is Champions the equivalent to a csgo major?

the LAN masters are majors
not masters 1 cuz that was regional

yeah this makes more sense to me but i was seeing so many people saying sentinels and gambit won a major and im like uwot lmao
sentinels and gmbit won something liek esl pro league or iem masters smthn like that imo

Master are way more important than ESL and Blast for Valorant, despite Champions u have only other 3 international events per year. Master would be in the same level as Cologne and Katowice events of CS.

I would say:

Valorant Champions = CS Major
Valorant Masters = CS Cologne/Katowice.

Both important tournaments in their own way.
