For example, for NA Stage 3: Challengers 1 started with round of 128. That means there are at least 128 teams for NA. But EMEA, there are 3 regions (CIS, Europe and Turkey). Europe Stage 3: Challengers 1 Open Qualifier (for Closed one and Main event, there were other teams, so this increases team number) started with round of 256, Turkey Stage 3: Challengers 1 Open Qualifier started with round of 64, CIS Stage 3: Challengers 1 Open Qualifier started with round of 64. This makes that for 4 EMEA spot, more than 400 teams try to disqualify other teams. This number is way more than NA's team number. This is why EMEA has more representatives than NA.

You shouldn't be making fun of regions or make fun of education. Lets take some of the countries in Africa, they are really poor because some countries don't have a gov., ruled by military or militants, really poor they have to do anything to survive. Act mature, no need to make fun of education or region! I don't know why everyone is copy pasting NA education, many people come to US for education. We got some of the best universities and so does EU. Respect education and region.

Emea has so many countries and 3 separate regions whereas NA is large and popular but Canada and USA are pretty intertwined and overall there isn't as many teams. EMEA quals have a round of 256 even just because they have that many teams.
