i think this situation was gonna happen w/ the guard either way

the players have been trying with other teams, and as mentioned in this post:

some players were already signed, and i don't think that given the guard current financial cuts, they were gonna be able to sign new players for replacements

This sucks for players like jonahp
cause its not like he was a flashy player on the team
very mediocore imo
but a big part in why the gaurd worked so well

Is it bad to have back ups? Also I cant rem whos stream or post it was, but a lot of Guard players were just filling to help champs teams get scrims in. Besides if they were gonna split why do it now and not before?

The worst part of it all is TheGuard on Twitter sending messages to the other franchise orgs as if everything is okay, saying "see you in 2024, huh?"
They toyed with the players' feelings. That org is utterly TERRIBLE.

Well, I'm not blaming the person managing TheGuard's Twitter account, but rather the organization that should have planned better.
The least they could have done is to stop fostering illusions. It's very simple to ask the social media manager to stop sending messages without revealing what was about to happen. Please stop defending such a trash org, they're wrong in every way.

yeah its why an org like G2 or TSM would've been best to win ascension. riot doesnt even require a lot of financial power into it, from my understanding they look for stability, guard are anything but stable since they are understaffed
