Saying slot should go to m80, most braindead thing I've heard, this bum acting like he deserves it now

Let's focus on giving the guard players an org before giving it to a bum team that lost finals and had no stake in ascending

I get that a whole year was wasted for him, but he's out of line saying he deserves the spot now

Realistically, if the winner can't take the reward, it seems only fair to give it to the runner-up

I don't think there's a more fair option other than auctioning off The Guard roster to the highest bidder

the players should still have that spot under that said org, they are the one who grinded a year for it.

How does the Riot partnership money get dispersed? You can't just pay it out 5 ways to the players individually, and even if you did, now they need to run their own "org" for the next 2 years?

Arguably worse than just dicking them out of the spot now

find an org that is willing to sign those players, make sure the org keep at least 3 core(just like the guard rule)

the spot would belong to an org, but would have the guard players in it...

i love the m80 guys. they def deserve a tier 1 spot. but they didnt earned it, the guard did. giving it to the runnerup would just be weird to me.

Finding an org is easier said than done though

First you need to find one that's "worthy" of the league like they did with the original Partnership slots, the org needs to field at least 3 of these players, contract negotiate with all of them AND it sets the precedent that an org can just buy a slot in Tier 1

Not saying any of its fair, but it is a complicated situation
