Envy managed to make themselves way more unlikable than they were already, somehow? Apart from having Marved on the team, Yay decided to go ahead and cancel Kyedae for basic trash talk that everyone does when they lose. But of course, twitter snowflakes compare it to "body shaming" and how "toxic" it is.

It's so stupid. You listen in on any of the comms from other teams and you'd find things 10x worse than what was said. Apparently "scrawny" is where we draw the line these days? Well, maybe in the delusional world of Twitter.

This whole situation is just immature. Yay especially. Kyedae already deleted the VOD and apologized (EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDN'T NEED TO) and yet that wasn't enough.

This situation speaks volumes for the community at the moment, it's beyond embarrassing.

And now she's thinking of leaving streaming for a while. So thanks val community + envy for literally canceling and bullying someone out of content creation? Very epic of you guys.

Medium warm take: the smoke she is catching from the internet is totally deserved*
She's an adult, and a professional who was sanctioned by Riot to co-stream. She should learn to control her emotional reactions, and not say things like that in front of thousands of people. We all have to be responsible for our own actions regardless of if we're joking or not. You can't go to your place of work and talk like that without consequence, why should she be able to? It's not an issue of people being overly sensitive or 'snowflakes' it's more of the fact that nowadays esports personalities are more visible and held to a higher standard than ever before, which is a good thing and comes with industry growth.

* I say that it's deserved but I am of course excluding the toxic ass people telling her to harm herself or anything similar to that. These people are only furthering the problem and nobody deserves that, period. But she should catch some flack, and even be called out for saying something so hateful in a sanctioned and professional environment.
