Riot puts Turkey and East Russia under EMEA, why not Asia ?

Turkey is fine, but East Russian players (something,vici,jemkin,kr1stal) they have to join the team as import players because they are treated as EMEA even though geographically they should be classified as Asia.

Yes, it is. However, Turkey is more convenient in EMEA than in Asia, given its membership in the EU and its circuits.

emea includes asia (middle east) so yeah emea covers both asia and europe, but its really weird to consider those who have been playing and competing in asia server imports. not their fault they get better ping there.
