Orangutan X player leaves Org out of frustration

Emi (an aussie player) who plays for Orangutan X (GC team) has left the org and tweeted about the reason today.
She wrote that she was unhappy with the way the management did their job. They sometimes yelled at the players 💀 and didn't fulfill what was requested by them.

She was promised a specialised cook for the international players but the management didn't provide one when she arrived in the indian bootcamp. As a result she had to suffer from food poisoning often. She also said how she was frustrated by the lack of support and the behaviour of the management.

After she tweeted about it today, for some reason she has restricted her account. So we can't see the tweet except the followers.

What do you think about the situation? Orangutan is the no. 1 org from india and hearing about this situation is just sad.

True that. She said some players were sick of the local food. I inferred it to be food poisoning. I don't know if they had an indian cook or not or if they ordered food everyday. If they ordered everyday from outside then obviously they might get sick.

I don't understand how people can be mad at Emi for literally just not settling for less. This is why these regions don't improve tbh, if people want better services and higher standards, they get mad at you and they make you look like it's your fault you can't fit in.

Tbh i don't think orangutan has that cashflow to provide world class facilities. But i definitely think they should have fulfilled what they had promised to Emi before she agreed to come.

I agree. To add as well, I don't think lack of funds or cash flow is an excuse for this type of treatment felt by the player, especially being an import. We have so-called professional ethics which are standards that are upheld even in regular workplaces. Either way, I hope the scene in general improves with these type of feedback and discussions.

watching Indian tier 2 this year, we have good enough talent for top teams to take them in, BUT there's so much nepotism right now in Indian orgs that all the friends of top players a year or 2 ago keep getting chances than actual players. There was also another tweet after GE got knocked out of LCQ saying how little we practice day in & day out. We have the facilities, we have setups for players for pracc but they just dont scrim. Im not surprised looking at this stuff since we just dont take stuff like this seriously, for some reason. Even though we're nowhere good to be acting like it. Paycheck stealers & nepotism is gonna cost us doing well in another FPS game like CSGO.
