EMEA 1 Team Region?

I love and watch the Americas scene, was born in Europe and currently residing in APAC. Why call EMEA a 1 Team Region?

We had 4 different winners. Acend (Champions '21), Gambit, FPX (NaVi), and Fnatic)

NA had 2 winners, SA only 1 winner and APAC 0.

IF you are referring to the fact that Fnatic is the only good team in EMEA right now (which I think is true myself), shouldn't you be more worried about the fact that all your good teams can't even beat our one and only team?

EDG are clearly better
EG will be under pressure that game cause if they lose they'll get clowend(the same happened to ardiis)
The only team EDG lost to was PRX and PRX is way better than EG

I'd say they have a fair chance. I do love EG, but I was more amazed by their Tokyo form. I'd say it's a fair 50/50.

actually good thread unfortunately they are worse region despite better #1 team the fact your region is 13-3 against us without fnatic is kind of sad only teams yall beat are KRU at LOCK//IN KRU at Champs and Leviatan at LOCK//IN

I do admit, that the Americas' region is much better indeed. There are more good NA teams than there are EMEA teams. In general, we were able to come up with double the amount of different winners. I do respect your positive take. So the 1 Team Region literally only refers to the fact that right now only Fnatic is good and everyone else is bad :D which is somehow true.

Why would you put the best NA teams against mid EMEA teams when you dont include fnatic?

Franchising nerfed most of the really good teams from last year. LOUD lost Sacy, Pancada. Optic core lost yay and Marved. FPX core lost Ardiis. You need a good core + replacements if any to perfectly fit in. This happened with 100% accuracy for Fnatic with Leo and Chronicle. To some degree with EG core with Demon1 and PRX core with something.

Considering this is the first year of franchising, one could say its pure luck whether your replacements/new players fit in or not. So in that sense, there is not much anyone can do right now. Fnatic is just lucky their new players fit in. This will however change in the near future.
