Recently a file has been popping up on my desktop named "SPInfo" When I click on it, it opens up an empty notepad. I've tried to delete it but when I would restart my PC it pops back up. I've seen others who play Valorant and League have this happen to them. It's not a big problem just wondering if there is a way to fully remove it for good. It just takes up space on my desktop for no reason.

Then I have to go through the pain of redownloading everything, surely there is another way?

if its not causing any problem then you can discard it.
maybe try figuring out which process is using that file.
im not sure of any other way. keep in mind resetting your PC will 100% eradicate the problem. Keep in check what you download from the next time.
You can ask this on windows forum too, you'll get similar responses tho, ive been anwering questions since 2 years there.
