and consistent improvements towards the tail end of the regular season. On the other hand, Gen.G came into the series hoping to rebound from a disappointing finish to the regular season that ended with a streak of six straight series losses before their playoff run.
“Never give up, let's go to the end,” said Sylvan .

TS's individual performance was vital to Gen.G's win. The Korean initiator and in-game leader held a 1.29 rating by the end of the series, far above the rest of the server.
TS and Sylvan were pivotal in particular during Gen.G's overtime win on Haven. The pair held 1.37 and 1.41 ratings respectively, 0.34 higher than the next closest on the team.
TS also displayed a considerable amount of flexibility within his role, playing Gekko, Skye, and Sova across the three maps played.
TS's Gekko shone brightly for Gen.G and was key for Gen.G's dominant 9-3 first half. However, Gen.G crumbled on the offense as garnetS began to activate with the Operator on Jett. Ending with 30 kills, 19 of which came in the second half, GarnetS carried his team to an incredible comeback from a 9-3 deficit to take the first map 13-11.
Split, Gen.G's map pick, proved to be comfortable for the Korean squad. k1Ng seemed at home on Cypher, dropping a 1.16 rating with frequent high-impact kills as Gen.G cruised to a 13-10 win. Star performances from k1ng were a necessary piece of Gen.G's success early in the VCT Pacific regular season.
Haven, the decider, saw dominant attack sides from both teams, but the difference maker for Gen.G was Sylvan. The Korean controller experienced a 0.59 rating boost compared to his average from the previous two maps, showing up when it mattered most for his team. This performance allowed Gen.G to narrowly take the final map 15-13.
