Don't think so. Difference is when the game first released globally no one played as strat-wise and there was no definitive meta. I'm not exactly sure why Sentinels dominated but it definetely wasn't insane midrounding and teamwork, they were just all cracked individually. EDG on the other hand have mastered trading, and to some extent even midrounding, they're achieving a very high skill-ceiling for Valorant and other teams can only aim to catch up rather than exceed. Also I think EDG have been able to keep up partly because they have a TW coach who's known about the game since release, in fact most pro players rn only know about Valorant since they have friends from HK/TW
