16 teams = not enough. also dont mix latam and br, they are both doing good, they play each other anyways in scrims so no need to merge here

JP scrims SEA and KR and I don't really think they are on the level of those regions, scrims are good but playing in officials will def help too.

yeah but playing in officals wont bring them up. also we have a LAN every 3 months so thats enough i guess, just make a play-in with 12/8 teams and put japan in there so they get more games against mid regions instead of first round EMEA/NA. then make 4 advance to the main event with 16 teams. soi 24/20 teams

the problem in the BR and LA region is the lack of teams. This lack of teams is caused by the low investment in e-sports on the continent as a whole, reflecting in a low competitiveness.

I think the only way to increase this competitiveness is with a greater incentive to invest, whether by increasing prizes or brand exposure in competitions
