Y'all just want it to be like csgo because "iTs HiHgEr CoMpEtItItIoN". people like that literally want eu and na getting 80 percent of the spots. well go watch then CSGO, so interesting its 8 eu teams in palyoffs, lets go HYYYYPPPPEEEEE. 4 teams are enough to represent a region + every region should have at least one slot + regions shouldnt be combined because it kills regions + fanbases

Small regions need time to improve and adapt. Im really hoping the future of valorant would consist of different regions with fully polished playstyle and established players/teams. Not the usual 2 regions dominate everyone type of stuff you see in other games

japan has a huuuge fanbase, its on the same level as turkey, so if it continues like this, we might see some really good teams in 2-5 years, when there is homemade talent. If the game continues doing well there we might gonna see some decent performances. Imo they could make it out of play-ins if riot makes a similair format as Worlds (but shorter)

agreed. just like world cups not every region would be good but definitely generates hype all over the globe and it gets better and more entertaining as we go into playoffs. If every game is one good team vs another then eventually we'll find it boring and wont be as hyped if it isn't rare

yeah, imo every region should also not get more than 4 slots (its enough representation and they could take 4 seeds if riot actually stops putting 2 EMEA teams in one group). I think riot wont keep TR with EMEA next year since they are well established so EMEA would still have enougn spots overall. but its just borin having 8 eu teams in playoffs in csgo.

thats what im saying. i mean when a region is good enough, 4 teams is enough to take home the tournament + represent a region.
It doesnt work in csog because they killed every other region

true, even if a region isnt really on par with others, or would be tier 2 in a major region
its nice to see theyre still getting some representation, otherwise the game's viewership might die and playerbase too if the region doesnt get a bit of support
