Ase not that good, people overhyped them cuz they got a fluke win vs EDG, most of them don't even follow CN valorant.
EDG are the real deal tho
i believed so, considering ASE is a level below EDG and they still giving a fight against DRX shows how great the CN teams are
EDG are better for sure, but to be fair to ASE, that entire second event where they lost was pointless and they 2-0’d EDG earlier in the bracket. They’re pretty neck and neck aside from experience.
They're not neck to neck at all, and it wasn't pointless it decided who qualifies for Champions qualifiers...
both were already qualified, so yes it was pointless. Also in the past 3 matches, EDG and ASE have gone 5-5 on maps, seems pretty close to me
its more about consistency. Its easier to lose to regional matchup if your team been dominant for so long. Even drx struggling now in APAC at times. Still the consistency of EDG is there.
Riot only needed to launch cn servers if they want cn to not suck at the game so cn can have their own playerbase instead of these vpn users going pro
last i checked they are testing nodes in 4 mainland cities so hopefully they can have their own servers soon, there's been rumors tho that they will have cn servers tomorrow but ig it's fake news
in Beijing I get 70 ping on Singapore 110 on Tokyo 120+ on Mumbai and other servers
but you can pay to use a 加速器 which is basically a vpn for gaming and it lowers your ping to like 50 on different servers
however most people still just play csgo because it’s the most well known game not many people know about valorant
