where are you? talking too much shit after the UBSF
cause it was still extremely close despite the final scoreline not reflecting how each map, round, or even small moment was just a slight change away from being a different story.
MxM were not at their best and they lost because of that.
Just the way really high level, competitive valorant goes. But you don't seem to understand that :)
Sitting at 11 while the other team chips away round after round, is not called close. A 6-1 lead is not called close. 2-0 with only one of them being OT is not called close. When you're up 2 maps and only need to win one more to win, meaning that you're good for 2, is not really a close-situation. It's called domination. The last few rounds they had were the cleanup. I expect someone with critical thinking to understand that but oh well.
DSG having a 10 loss streak was also them not being at their best. If they were at their best, they could have a 10 win streak! It's always not at their best when they lose. Not sure what's the point here.
many rounds came down to very close like 1v1 / 2v2 type stuff. What my point is, is that if a moment in the round is different. Like a gun duel goes the other teams way for example the tone of the game can totally shift. As it could have with these two teams matchup in the upper bracket. The scoreline does not fully reflect how close the game actually was.
When multiple rounds are coming down to the final moments and just one gun duel changes the outcome. I would call that close. Hypothetically, if a game ends like 13-5 but every round ended with 1v1. I would say that game was close even if the score did not show it.
DSG were on that loss streak because they were simply bad. Not because they were not at their best, but because their best would not have been good enough anyways. MxM had shown much higher level of gameplay than what they put out today. DSG had not shown high level of gameplay. There is a difference.
If you want to be silly. all good! live you life. have a great time ๐๐
not to say they were a fluke team, but that UBSF could never be replicated.
MxM did well to get where they were, and at the beginning of the season I wouldn't have had them 3rd, but they landed exactly where they deserve to. They are just a tier below M80 and The Guard, which makes sense; M80 and The Guard were competing pretty well last season with teams who are in franchising right now, and MxM entered the year a damn F/A team
