Always hug your loved ones and never miss a day of doing it.
That's a saying I've always stood by since my last suicide attempt. My whole life I've dealt with major mental health struggles and it's not as easy dealing with as people make it out to be. The solution is not as simple as "be happy" or "ignore the haters" as some people make it out to be, in my case my outlook on life was severely twisted and it took years of therapy to fix.
People need to realize that their words have more impact as a collective audience than they think. Criticizing somebody's gameplay is fine, but knowing a large portion of the Valorant community is making personal attacks and calling for your removal daily can't be easy to shake. This may be the first case of this happening in Tier 1 Valorant, but with the state that the community is in, I'm afraid it won't be the last.
Please be more conscious and open minded when discussing stuff about professional play here. Banter and criticism is fine, but some people take things way too far. Life is too short to live in a perpetual state of hatred.
Rest in Peace Twisten. You were gone too soon but you won't be forgotten. <3
