With Paper Rex benching Benkai, an org that's supposed to represent the MY/SG region, Paper Rex's roster is no longer primarily comprised of MY/SG players. People gave RRQ a lot of shit for this, why not the same for Paper Rex?

This kinda confused me, cuz if its Indo/rrq, I prefer to have 3+ players from my country rather than imports. Its okay to strugle maybe 1-2 years but they will had a chance to improve.
GE is L org, keep kappa for 2 whole years and didn't sign any young talent, and now they only keep 2 India players
I thought during the Riot announcement video for franchise teams, they stressed they chose orgs to represent the sub regions of APAC and that Paper Rex would represent MY/SG
forsaken and mindfreak have been on the team for so long they're basically honorary mysg members lol. I think the problem with RRQ was building a new roster (which was supposed to be indonesian iirc) and choosing the players they did
forsaken-mindfreak-davai-benkai had been their core from csgo up until later stages of this year
RRQ wasn't even trying to win, but PRX is
IF RRQ bought the whole DRX, riot would probably accept it regardless of not representing ID
People gave RRQ a lot of shit for this

Rrq was not even popular on val scene and they use Indo represent to bait riot to gave them franchise spot, but they was fking sign 5 ph players (contract until 2026 btw)
Yea this is why rrq got alot of shit for, even ceo said that he chose to represent indo rather than ph in an interview, but first edition of the roster only had 1 indo and 5 pinoy lol.
RRQ made promises to be indonesia representative before franchised teams were announced, basically hyping themselves up as Indonesia savior of sorts, and remember their team were full of Philipines players at first, so to take over teams such as Boom means the whole of Indonesia are staring at the backs of RRQ to represent them, which backfired immensely when they barely got any Indonesians on the team
Paper Rex on the other hand never made that sort of big promise to the community and for the most part the benching of Benkai is just because he is not working well with the team, and not a direct attack at MY/SG or anything of the sorts. PRX HQ is also situated in Singapore, and until that move they will still be considered the franchised team from MY/SG.

People seem to forget that prx almost moved to an Indo challenger. After Shiba quit, prx almost signed Lmemore and moved to an Indo league. Luckily Lmemore picked onic. So they sign jinggg
Asia ppl need to stop to care what players' nationality if they want to become better as a whole region. EMEA and Americas literally don't have any nationality tag under the name team in HUD when playing.
I would be pretty happy if GE wins without any indians in it, Atleast team from our country wins something,i don't think anyone from india can play in GE and not bring the whole team down but i don't think it's the same case for My/SG they have some pretty good players..
paper rex: a team that existed since csgo day with the same 4 core players
rrq: shit ceo promise riot and indonesian fanbase that they will build a full indonesian roster, when in fact they signed ONE indonesian player. riot gave them warning then they panick signed another indonesian players

idt you'll see any heat for PRX bcuz most SGpean or MYsian will not care that much. Maybe popularity will decrease a lot for PRX here due to low representation. I do think they still likely will have atleast 2 or 3 players bcuz they basically got the slot frm mysg.
Also among mysg its more convenient to get a MY player than a SG bcuz they wont hv to abruptly leave the team to fulfill ns obligations. For now problem being they got much less player pool than sg
