Question about spike

I'm not new in any way. I've been playing for months and gotten pretty good.

But how do people know how much time was left before the spike exploded after it gets defused? I can never tell if they saw it or just guessed.

Just memorizing timing

It ticks faster/slower

after you defuse, it shows how many seconds were left where the round timer would be. also if you want to know if you have the defuse or not, search up "eggwick spike" on youtube. hard to explain it in words but something about a white orb coming into the bomb.

idk its pretty ez to remember the timing, somehow still on d3-imm players cant understand spike timings, when they can defuse, when they should retake etc etc, its kinda surprisin

look at the timer at the top center of the screen after defuse.
