Hi! I was just curious, I couldn’t find to much about it on the internet. But does anyone know the status of Valorant in China I read something about it not being officially released.

Do you guys think it will be released soon? If so do you think it will be popular as an esport or not as much?

I really dont think there should be any issue with Valorant releasing in China, since it doesn't seem to break any rules

then it will probably release. Maybe they also need to change the agents a bit, since they have ethnic backgrounds, you never know what type of propaganda the CCP can do.

It's going through government approval or something like that, I think they usually take at least a year? but who knows when Riot would've submitted the game for that. For some comparison, it recently was announced that it was or is going to be approved in Vietnam.

Orgs stopped hosting tourneys from what I've seen, though, and I think a lot of the original teams aren't active rn (ZFG dropped theirs and got a KR roster, for example)
