that's' not how playoffs works. if they lose 0-2 they'd be top 6 and wouldn't qualify .
no that's incorrect, they are 1st seed meaning that they would be in lower semis
The first round is the play-in’s. The winners of the first round play FNC and NAVI. Losers of those play in the lower round 1 against the losers of the play-in’s. If they win their first match they’re in. But if somehow they lost two in a row they’re out.

FNC and NAVI only need one win before 2 losses to qualify for tokyo. the rest need 2 wins before 2 losses

1-5 teams in emea are confirmed for playoffs. BBL and Vitality in contention for 6th spot
go to liquipedia, it has a much better playoffs page showing where the winners and losers of each game go where. even 1st and 2nd seed can go 0-2 and bomb out 5th-6th
