Coaches subbing in

Why are some teams like Karmine corp and team heretics subbing in coaches? I thought for Valorant franchising it was required to have a 6 player roster, so shouldn’t they all have subs to put in instead?

some teams listed assistant coach or analyst as 6th man since they didnt want to spend more money

They want to save money by having there coaches as a sixth man
