Whats wrong with vandal half shield?
Vandal half shield is better than phantom half shied technically speaking, just using logic.

Every team that buys half shield on buy rounds uses vandal half shield alongside phantom half shield the rifle doesn't actually matter.

I don't see it as a bad Idea though I've seen quite some teams do that
