Can someone explain to me why SMB is 7th in the EMEA rankings? Is it just not updated or what?

The ranking system is about wins and losses and positioning on the leaderboard during said wins and losses so it's never going to be accurate

Think about it this way: The rankings don't tell you what teams are currently good, rather how relatively impressive their match history is.

It's not like the teams are in a constant round robin group, they all get different opportunities at different times. SMB hasn't gotten enough opportunities to tip the balance.

SMB is a relatively new roster (compared to the other ones on the list)
That's why they are still below other teams.

I mean, no they shouldn't. They don't have the track record to prove what you are suggesting. As someone has explained, it is based on wins and losses and thankfully not on the whim of vlr users.

they need to work their way up cause they are a new roster. also dont take the rankings seriously its not a very good indicator of which team are above which.
