From the start of the tournament, people were hyping ACE, Gambit, G2, Guild. And throwing shit at team liquid and Fnatic that they are weak EU teams. Now people realise that maybe ACE isn't that strong and SMB is the new top. Gambit defeated ACE 3-1. Liquid gave Gambit a run for their position. Perhaps just 1 more kill and liquid would have been here instead of Gambit, but it is what it is. Fnatic is strong, and we all know it.
Esports is bigger than a bunch of idiots discussing in a forum that this team is trash, that region is trash and instead enjoy the games.
PS: I still think Acend is strongest, though SMB, Gambit are beasts atm
